Three naked bodies: my own, my mother’s, and my grandmother’s, mapping the places where lineage connects. This work grows out of a desire to understand why struggles with body image, eating, and consumption have followed me throughout my life, and how these patterns are shaped by the cultural systems that pass quietly from one generation of women to the next. Asking, what if our bodies acted as a living geometry? Latex yellows and hardens; cyanotypes slowly lose their image with exposure to sunlight, making each print ephemeral. Eventually, they will decay, and from that decay, they can be recycled and reimagined again.
