Anthotypes, 2025

This project explores the use of holistic and plant-based materials to create pigments for anthotype printing, drawing inspiration from early female healers and herbalists. The work preserves and collects colour derived from organic matter, positioning pigment-making as both archival and symbolic practice.By forming a contemporary herbarium through anthotype imagery, the work reconnects photography with botanical knowledge, material experimentation, and the preservation of endangered forms of wisdom.
