Cease To Remember is a photographic portrait series documenting ten self-sufficient women over the age of 70 living in the Niagara Falls and Western New York region. The project forms part of a broader investigation into women’s lives across generations, with a focus on aging, visibility, and independence. Through interviews and intimate portraiture, the work foregrounds voices often overlooked despite lifetimes of contribution. Photographed within their own environments, these women are presented as active individuals, challenging narratives that position aging as an ending rather than a continuation.
